Prefer to explore with your own horse? That’s possible too. Both of the riding schools above offer temporary stabling facilities. If you're going out on your own, make sure to follow the local rules. Riding above the high tide line or in the dunes is strictly prohibited—except on designated bridle paths. Also, horse riding on the beach is not allowed between 1 June and 15 September, between 08:00 and 19:00.
